This rock salt ice melt is ideal for de-icing walkways and driveways, delivering reliable performance in cold conditions down to -5°F. Made from 100% screened rock salt (sodium chloride), it features a naturally bright color for excellent visibility and smooth, even spreadability. When used as directed, it is safe for air-entrained, cold-weather concrete that is at least one year old. For best results, apply 1 cup (10 ounces) per square yard, spread evenly without piling or overapplying, then remove the resulting slush and reapply as needed.
