King of the Garden Lima Pole Bean Seeds

This is a vigorous climbing lima bean that gives enormous yields of large white beans. The seven-inch pods hold 5-6 beans each, growing on eight to ten-foot vines that do well on poles or trellises. It takes about 90 days to mature and bears until frost. This pole lima bean came from the efforts and research of Frank Platt, who developed it for 6-seeded pods and tall vines. Ever since, gardeners have appreciated this bean for its sweet, creamy flavor and dependable growth.
